In this episode, I chat about a few different things. I announced my new work destination last Friday, so in the first half of the episode, I chat with Seth Davis, my new boss over at The Fieldhouse. We talk about what led him to The Athletic, why we believe in The Athletic's model, and why we both wanted to work together. Then, we chat about politics online, and how the paradigm has shifted for sports reporters wanting to talk about issues online. Seth also goes into his past and his backstory growing up in Washington D.C. in political circles.

Then in the second half of the show, I chat with good friend of the program Reid Forgrave from over at CBS Sports. Reid and I spent a lot of time together out in Las Vegas, so we chatted about the biggest story out of the circuit out there: LaVar Ball. What do we think of the situation that happened out there with the female referee? How should the media cover LaVar Ball? Should they cover him at all this year? All that, as well as some small amount of actual basketball talk.

Please remember to rate, review and subscribe to the podcast on iTunes. You can follow Seth at @SethDavisHoops, you can follow Reid at @ReidForgrave, and you can follow me at @Sam_Vecenie.
