In this edition of the Game Theory Podcast, I have Fred Katz on to talk about the New York Knicks. Particularly, we talk about Jimmer Fredette, why the Knicks have fallen off a cliff, then briefly about continued expectations for Kristaps Porzingis. We then answered a few Twitter questions, including a discussion on why Fred enjoys Capriotti's subs in Las Vegas so much, and whether or not the Hawks should make Dennis Schroder the point guard of the future.

In this edition of the Game Theory Podcast, Seth Partnow comes on and talks about player development cycles, particularly in regard to Karl-Anthony Towns and Jahlil Okafor, the two most productive rookies in the NBA so far this season according to box scores. Why box scores aren't necessarily the be all, end all, why Towns is not the best center in the NBA, and why we have plenty of reason to be excited about young players in the league.

In this edition of the Game Theory Podcast, I had Danny Leroux on to talk about what went down at the NBA Trade Deadline. I also explained at the top why there was no show earlier in the week. To make up for it, we went super long and talked about a variety of things, including Houston and Dwight Howard, what the Pelicans' direction is, what Orlando was thinking, and whether or not the Clippers are real contenders. At the end, we also chatted about Danny's new project called Blind Spot Removal, which seeks to help provide incentive for those who have a pop culture blind spot that is particularly egregious.

In this edition of the Game Theory Podcast, Jordan White of Vice Sports, Uproxx, Hardwood Paroxysm, just about everywhere on the internet, comes on and talks about the All-Star game and All-Star weekend. Topics include why we love the Rising Stars game, why we're excited about big men in the Skill Competition, if Zach LaVine is the best dunker ever, and if we think the NBA All-Star game is worth getting excited over. At the end, we also had a 10-minute digression about comic book movies, including Deadpool, X-Men, and Superman if you're into that thing.

In this edition of the podcast, my colleague over at CBS Sports Robby Kalland hops on to chat about the trade rumors that are engulfing the Atlanta Hawks right now. Will they move Al Horford? Jeff Teague? What is the situation down there like? Also, Robby gives an interesting trade proposal involving Blake Griffin, Carmelo Anthony, Al Horford and Jeff Teague. Oh, and he also gives a funny story about what happened when he saw Lucas Nogueira for the first time at Summer League after the Hawks traded him back in 2014.

In this edition of the Game Theory Podcast, I have regular guest Danny Leroux hop on and discuss why the Knicks might have fired Derek Fisher, and what the heck the Kings are doing with George Karl. Both decisions are pretty surprising.

In this edition of the Game Theory Podcast, I talk with Derek Bodner of Philly Mag, Draft Express, and USA Today. We chat about the situation with the Philadelphia 76ers, including stuff about the Jerry Colangelo/Sam Hinkie front office question, the development of Jahlil Okafor, and how they're going to have a lot of decisions upcoming about who to build around. After that, we discuss the NBA Draft for a majority of the podcast, including Ben Simmons vs. Brandon Ingram, Buddy Hield's rising draft stock, and who some of the players are that we like more than the general consensus, and like a bit less than the general consensus.

In this edition of the Game Theory Podcast, I have on Danny Leroux to discuss the Phoenix Suns firing Jeff Hornacek finally, and what direction the organization should look to go at this point. How does the roster shake out? How desirable is the job? Who could be traded come deadline time? All of that stuff and more. Plus, at the end, Danny and I also discuss the high school event he went to this weekend, and his first impressions of likely future NBA players like Josh Jackson and Thon Maker, among others.

We chat about Kentucky's struggles, LSU's turnaround, VIllanova, that insane Kansas-Oklahoma game, and some Pac-12 stuff at the end.
